Green Producer Diary
My Motivation
We were inspired by the idea that even old materials can have new value. Working with recycled fabrics develops creativity and a responsible attitude towards nature. For us, sustainability means creating more without unnecessary waste.
We created this product because we believe that fashion can be more environmentally friendly. Old clothes hold potential that often goes unnoticed. Sustainability is important because protecting the environment depends on our small everyday decisions.
My Vetrine Journey
The first months were dedicated to preparation and collecting materials. After that, we started developing initial ideas for the ensemble through fashion sketches. Gradually, we moved on to production—first the top (blouse), then the skirt, and finally the bag, which was an essential accessory to the outfit.
Working with recycled fabrics required extra attention. Some parts had to be carefully combined. This was a challenge, but it helped us develop our skills. From the leftover fabric pieces, we created decorative roses, which we applied as embellishments on the blouse.
The project demonstrated that old materials can be reused in new and creative ways.
Sustainability Aspect | Your Actions / Explanation |
|---|---|
Environmental | We used recyclable materials that do not require additional resources for extraction and processing. |
Social | In mass production, our products can be manufactured by a local company that ensures good working conditions and fair wages. |
Financial | Our products have low production costs, a long product life cycle, and use cost-effective and sustainable production techniques. |
A Message to Consumers
We would like people to understand that every material can have a second life, whether it is a garment or another object. We put a lot of effort into creating something unique, youthful, and slightly bold, reflecting our imagination. We hope our product will inspire others.
A Message to Future Learners
We encourage everyone who is just starting to be patient. Working with recycled materials can sometimes be challenging, but the result is worth it. The most important thing is not to give up. Our advice is to learn from every mistake. Through the process, new skills are developed. Sustainable fashion is a great way to express creativity.
