I wanted to create a garment for a theatrical character with a twist, in this case, a harlequin that is not all laughs and jokes but carries drama and so the costume has been carefully texturized to appear battered and worn-out, reflecting the character’s own personality. All the fabrics are donated, they are old bed sheets and a piece of felt left over from previous projects
My Vetrine Journey
The technical difficulty of creating the padding to give volume to the trousers and the texturizing of the shirt, both mechanical and in dye to make it look haggard and worn-out. I overcame these slightly challenging parts simply trying ideas into action and getting better with practice. Also, the advice of my mentor helped.

Financial
Very low production cost, long product lifespan, used cost-efficient sustainable techniques
A Message to Consumers
I perceive that I had put enough effort and enthusiasm in this work, trying to go a little beyond the simple construction of a costume to that of using the costume to reflect a state of mind.
A Message to Future Learners
I would simply mention that sustainable design is not incompatible with clothes that reflect our personalities and serve not only to dress us but also to express ourselves.
