Green Producer Diary
My Motivation
I wanted to develop a desgin that has an emotional and visual impact, while also promoting values such as sustainability, inclusion and freedom of expression. Fashion can be a powerful tool to promote ecological awareness and social justice. I believe that design must have a purpose: to care for the planet and give voice to diverse identities.
My Vetrine Journey
The key stages in creating the look were mainly pattern development, experimenting with the pieces, and the final assembly of the garments. I started from scratch with the pattern-making, followed by fittings and adjustments, and finally the construction and finishing touches.
The biggest challenge was undoubtedly drafting the trousers from scratch, as it was something I’d never done before and it took me quite a while to get a proper grasp of the proportions and fit. It was also a challenge to take the waistcoat apart and reconstruct it, ensuring the final result was clean, balanced and well-fitted.
Furthermore, balancing the entire process with my studies, work, other projects and personal life.
To overcome these challenges, I worked step by step and with patience, relying on guidance from my mentor and advice from those around me. Furthermore, as this was a creative and personal project, I allowed myself to experiment and go with the flow, which helped me find solutions and develop the design more naturally.

A Message to Consumers
My designs reflect a chaotic, rebellious and imperfect approach that perfectly encapsulates who I am as a designer. Each garment is part of my identity, and together they convey who I am and how I view fashion. Through the drama of the mask, I want to present myself as a young designer brimming with ideas, capable of transforming any material and, above all, relishing the creative process.
A Message to Future Learners
If you’re getting into sustainable fashion, it’s because you want to make a difference and send a message, so trust in that. Enjoy the creative process, experiment, make mistakes and express yourself without fear. Play around, deconstruct and create: enthusiasm and passion are what matter most.
